Your First 90 Days with Metopio: What to Expect

When your team launches Metopio, you’ll be joining a community of public health and hospital professionals turning data into action like never before.

Whether you’re here to streamline your next Community Health Assessment (CHA), build a data-driven CHIP, or empower your team with shared insights, your first 90 days with Metopio will move fast — because that’s how it’s designed!

There’s no IT setup, no coding, and no waiting months for implementation. You’ll be up and running in hours, not weeks. From day one, our goal is simple: help you make community health data accessible, actionable, and meaningful.

Days 1–30: Getting Oriented

Goal: Learn the platform, connect your data, and explore Metopio’s datasets.

Your first month is all about discovery. You’ll meet your dedicated Metopio Customer Success Partner (your personal guide for onboarding, goal setting, and training) and get hands-on in the platform right away.

We’ll meet you where you are, tailoring our work to your goals. Whether you’re focused on CHA, CHIP, or program evaluation, we’ll align setup around what success looks like for you.

  You’ll start by:

  • Exploring the Metopio data to see curated national, state, and local datasets in action — plus connecting your own community or internal datasets for richer context.

  • Learning your account structure, data sources, and team roles

  • Customizing your view — building maps, setting color schemes, and visualizing ZIP-level insights

Quick Wins:

  1. Create your first map or chart

  1. Compare ZIP codes in your community to uncover early trends

  1. Share your first visualization with your department or team

Days 31–60: Building Insights and Collaboration

Goal: Start creating dashboards, standardizing workflows, and aligning data across your team.

Now that you’re comfortable in the platform, it’s time to move from exploration to collaboration. In month two, you’ll learn how to:

  • Build dynamic dashboards for CHA or CHIP reporting

  • Define local benchmarks that reflect your community’s priorities

  • Replace manual data pulls with automated updates that save hours each week

We’ll also introduce intermediate training sessions, focused on visualization, interpretation, and best practices for communicating impact. This might also be a good time to invite partners — hospitals, nonprofits, or local agencies — into shared workspaces for joint planning.

Days 61–90 (and Beyond): Scaling Your Success

Goal: Translate insights into impact and set up for long-term success

By month three, you’ll be able to comfortably use Metopio’s export tools to:

  • Generate ready-to-share visuals for CHA/CHIP reports or board presentations.

  • Create logic models and alignment frameworks to connect programs with outcomes

  • Automate recurring reports, narrative summaries, and dashboards.

We’ll help you identify priority areas and early wins — comparing before-and-after workflows to measure time saved, new efficiencies, and team adoption.

Your Customer Success Manager will continue to check in regularly to share product updates, best practices, and real-world examples from other users while answering any questions or helping with tough projects.

When you join Metopio, you’re never on your own — you’re part of a growing network of professionals reimagining how data can serve communities!

Welcome to faster, smarter, more connected community health work.
