Metopio Powers New Northern Kentucky Community Data Dashboard
Atlas helps Northern Kentucky drive collaboration around data to create prosperous and resilient communities
Now community members in three counties in Northern Kentucky along with organizations, businesses and researchers can access data across Kenton, Boone and Campbell County including 57 cities and towns, 42 ZIP codes, and 99 Census tracts using the new Northern Kentucky Community Data Dashboard.
“In 2021, we met with dozens of community and business leaders to align on the four initiatives of the Build + Elevate NKY investor campaign,” said Tri-ED CEO Lee Crume. “One idea that rose to the top of the list was a data dashboard that anyone in the community can access and use to inform decision-making. We’re excited to share the Atlas with the community and dig into key data points that we believe will impact the region’s prosperity over the next five years.”
The Northern Kentucky Atlas provides an innovative, easy-to-use platform that allows any stakeholder to access and use data to gain a deeper understanding of communities and collaborate regardless of their data science experience. It features over 200 indicators that can be visualized in maps, charts, graphs and tables for any location in the three-county region.

To increase the ability of users to drive meaningful insights, Metopio’s technology enables community residents and stakeholders to review, explore and compare data over time. Current data in the Northern Kentucky Atlas is a resource that can be used by stakeholders for program planning, investment strategies, and grant writing.

I know these are not easy things to design and implement, but the Atlas will be an incredible resource for decision-makers in our region to make pragmatic decisions and measure actual outcomes.”
