Metopio Powers New West Side United Dashboard
West Side United recently launched a new interactive dashboard to share data with community members and partners who live, work and congregate on Chicago’s West Side. The dashboard allows any stakeholder to access and apply data to understand health disparities, take action, and increase their impact.
Central to the West Side United’s approach is the strategic use of data to identify, understand and address the root causes of inequality. The platform features over 100 indicators focused on West Side United’s initiatives:
Healthcare Access and Quality: Leveraging health data to improve access to care, enhance patient outcomes, and reduce disparities in healthcare services.
Economic Vitality: Using economic data to create job opportunities, support local businesses, and drive sustainable economic growth in the West Side.
Education and Youth Development: Analyzing educational data to develop programs that support students, improve educational outcomes, and prepare youth for future
Data across these areas can be visualized in maps, charts, graphs and tables and is easily shared. This dynamic flexibility allows anyone to create meaningful reports and tell powerful data-driven stories about their neighborhoods.
